Men – B Grade
You’re never too old to play softball! Just ask the thousands of participants who take part in softball around the world. Softball is a great game. Softball is a game perfect for beginners and experienced players; there’s no pressure – the emphasis is all about fun. The game can be played by male teams and has plenty of action to keep everyone involved and active. The senior male competition gives the more experienced male juniors a pathway to gain more experience in their own game. With having the two division A & B grade men, junior boys have two levels to improve their own game. Men use a 12-inch ball and pitch in an underarm motion from 46 feet.
Wednesday evening from 5:00pm

Head Coach: Michelle McKeown
First game was in 1980 with a team called the Burrawang Jaffa’s- Southern Highlands NSW. Didn’t play again till I moved to Queensland and joined the Victoria Point Sharks in 2002. Played at world masters in Melbourne and this lit the flame. Moved to Bundaberg in 2006 and joined west Leopards and are now the new Bargara Leopards. Coached 2nd west men’s team for 2 years. This is the 3rd year of coaching Bargara Bulls who keep me smiling every week. Have played masters for the past 3 years- Pan Pacs- Logan Lismore and Mackay. No desire to retire- Definitively not the best coach but definitely the most passionate and loudest.
Masters Men's Teams
For those of us who are a little longer in the tooth and enjoy the game, we have a Master’s competition in Australia. Masters competitions and events are for participants 35 years of age and older. There are many national and international Master’s events, all of which offer physical activity in a social environment and festival atmosphere. Softball is one of the highest participant sports in Master’s games.
If you are interested in becoming a scorer for Bargara Softball Club. We run a short, one day course at the start of most seasons. This is a great way to get involved with the Club and be a part of team even if you are not interested in playing.
For coaches wanting to extend their softball knowledge to include basic skills and how to play the game, there is also the formal coaching pathway of coach education and accreditation through Softball Australia's Coaching Program.
