About Softball

Bargara Softball is a local softball club serving youth and adults in the Bundaberg Region.  We are governed by Softball Australia, which is the national governing body for softball in Australia. Our membership comprises 8 States and Territories (Member States), Associations, Clubs and individual members who play, coach, officiate and support softball in Australia. There are people all over the world who recognise the benefits of softball and play it either as a social or a competitive sport. Softball can be played by all ages both male and female participants with varying abilities, skills and levels of fitness. Softball offers something for everyone. You can play, coach, umpire, score volunteer anyway you would like. A little more competitive you could manage a representative team. There are opportunities to travel to events within Queensland and Australia, some even have the opportunity to travel overseas as team members or supporters. Softball competitions are run in every state and territory, and at school, club, state, national and international levels.
